About The Position

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is hiring a Thermoforming Packer to safely and efficiently pack thermoformed trays under the direction of the Supervisor. The role requires strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. The Packer collaborates with other teams, monitors product quality, and maintains high standards of organization and craftsmanship.

The position is in Plant City, Florida, and offers a rate of $16.14 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential. The listed schedules are 6:45 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 6:45 p.m.–7:00 a.m., working four days on and four days off.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or operations environment; field work is acceptable.
• Demonstrated urgency and a get-it-done mindset when resolving tasks and issues.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Reliability, initiative, commitment, and a strong focus on quality.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. as required.
• Ability to perform repetitive duties, including stair climbing and prolonged standing.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Working knowledge of products and quality requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
• Work at a fast, consistent production pace.
• Pack a wide variety of products and materials.
• Remove products from the line and visually inspect them to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Complete duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.
• Support TOPPAN’s quality and safety policies.
• Assist in other departments as needed, including palletizing, labeling, and warehouse operations.
• Work independently while managing multiple responsibilities.
• Lift 25–50 lbs. as required.
• Perform repetitive duties, including stair climbing and prolonged standing.
• Work quickly and accurately with strong attention to detail.
