Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a design role involving Window/Curtainwall design is an asset
• NFRC Certification using Therm and Window is an asset
• Ability to be organized in a fast paced role while paying attention to detail and accuracy against established targets
• Computer literacy, working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills a must
• Capable of working in a fast paced environment, with tasks changing on a regular basis
• Ability to work in a deadline driven environment

Responsibilities

• Generate Thermal Simulations and reports using LBNL Laboratories Therm and Window Programs
• Assist in taking organic designs from customer vision to commercialization
• Use best practices in building science, and thermal analysis
• Research materials and systems to determine specific project suitability
• Interpret building codes, bylaws and project/design/construction specifications
• Prepare detailing in 3D modelling with Inventor, and AutoCAD
• Participate in project design development
