The US base salary range for this full-time position is $145,250 - $172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 3 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Manufacturing Engineer-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field, and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Manufacturing Engineer-related occupation.
  • Working with core manufacturing processes, including machining, stamping, injection molding, casting, welding, brazing, soldering, and mechanical assembly;
  • Supplier management and the strategic execution of line, process, or vendor qualification protocols;
  • Statistical process control methodologies and high proficiency with statistical tools for data-driven quality and process improvement;
  • Conducting supplier audits, cycle time evaluations, and line capacity analysis;
  • Managing products, revisions, and engineering changes within the complete Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) framework.

Responsibilities

  • Influence technical designs through Design for Excellence (DfX) activities, collaborating with teams to improve manufacturability, cost, quality, and supply chain availability.
  • Support initial process design and qualification for a component, part, or product.
  • Lead manufacturing initiatives by designing, qualifying, and improving processes to increase production capacity and quality, reduce production time and cost, and maintain supply continuity to enhance efficiency, yield, and throughput.
  • Implement process controls and analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, determine opportunities for improvement, and ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Develop manufacturing test solutions by writing test plans, driving test coverage based on product requirements, and implementing improvements to existing test platforms; and lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) process by investigating failures, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions to resolve technical issues.
