The ESSCA contract provides engineering, scientific, and technical support to NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, AL. Our Thermal Analysis and Control team is a high performing group executing challenging tasks for thermal and fluids design, analysis, and test support of the Space Launch System (SLS), Human Lander System (HLS), Deep Space Habitation and Mars missions. Working independently and with an integrated, collaborative team, your responsibilities would include: Providing thermal engineering support and sustaining engineering of spacecraft, payloads, satellites, vehicles, and technology development projects. Performing engineering studies in heat transfer, passive/active thermal control, thermal protection systems, testing, thermal/fluids analysis, verification, operational support, etc. as required by the specific task or project Supporting technical reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company guidelines. Meticulously assess designs, analysis reports, and test plans ensuring they align with standards and requirements. Staying updated with latest advancements, emerging technologies, and industry trends related to thermal management. Working across organizational boundaries and engineering disciplines to facilitate and execute engineering tasks and resolve systems integration issues. Sustaining an organized work environment that promotes safety, efficiency, and productivity.
