About The Position
McConway & Torley is looking for Thermal Finishers. As a Thermal Finisher (Burner/Welder) you’ll perform activities related to Welding, burning, and cutting steel products. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA and requires the ability to work any shift, which will be consistent once assigned.
Requirements
- 1 or more years of previous experience
- High school diploma
Responsibilities
- Proficiently identify and repair casting defects in assigned workstation (yokes, knuckles, or couplers)
- Proficiently perform carbon arcing
- Operate torch to remove excess material from all casting families.
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
