Insight is seeking a caring and approachable Comprehensive Therapy Technician to work in conjunction with staff and physicians to support the delivery of patient care second to none! The Therapy Technician is clinical and patient therapy-centric, but will have some creative capacities that are added into this role. The position thrives in a fast-paced, team oriented environment within a multidisciplinary clinic. This position may be cross-trained in all clinical administrative processes, therefore the Tech may also answer phones, obtain prior insurance authorizations, perform patient reminder calls, and enter information into the EMR. The Tech is required to maintain patient and hospital confidentiality at all times. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in Therapy specialties!

Requirements

  • Demonstrates eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
  • Skilled in working with people while building and managing relationships in a friendly, empathetic and respectful manner
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
  • Reliable in work results, timeliness and attendance

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience preferred
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Knowledge of clinical practices is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides hands on patient direction and support
  • Sets patients up with various machines, therapies and exercises
  • Assists with departmental therapeutic activities and other duties as assigned
  • Assists with the direction of clinic flow as needed
  • Light cleaning duties as needed
  • Assists in administrative tasks as needed, including front desk work
  • May contact patient to follow up with missed or canceled appointments
  • Support the Comprehensive Therapy department via other duties as assigned
