About The Position
The Emory University Department of Ophthalmology/Emory Eye Center is seeking a full-time Comprehensive Ophthalmologist (MD) to join our faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher (1.0 FTE, TEC). The ideal candidate will provide outstanding general/comprehensive ophthalmology care (including diagnosis and management of a broad range of ocular conditions) and will participate in the clinical and academic missions of the department through teaching and mentorship of residents, fellows, and medical students.
Requirements
- MD degree
- Board certified or eligible in Ophthalmology
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Georgia
- Ability to provide outstanding general/comprehensive ophthalmology care
- Ability to participate in clinical and academic missions
- Ability to teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a leading research university setting
- Experience with electronic health records
Responsibilities
