About The Position

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Therapy Technician for its Murray Hill location. The technician supports patient care by preparing treatment areas, gathering equipment and materials, and performing procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist. The role calls for clinical excellence, five-star customer service, and a collaborative approach that helps create a community environment for patients and team members.

Requirements

Previous customer service experience.
Strong communication skills and ability to multitask.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to grow.
Manual dexterity and general strength and endurance to routinely lift 5–35 pounds, carry 5–10 pounds for 40–50 feet, push loads of 5–150 pounds on casters, runners, or pulleys, and sustain a grip on 40–50 pounds for 1–2 minutes.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment areas for patient care.
Gather equipment and materials.
Perform procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
