Therapy Technician (CNA), PT Weekends, Inpatient Therapy
About The Position
Adventist Rehabilitation - Rockville seeks to hire a Therapy Tech for our Inpatient Rehab Department, who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Therapy Technician you will: •Physically assists staff with direct patient care. •Maintains equipment and inventories supplies and equipment. •Maintains an environment conducive to patient care, cleanliness, and patient/staff safety. •Performs other operational tasks in response to the needs of the rehab dept. •Contributes to Process Improvement Process.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Nice To Haves
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Maryland preferred
- Previous experience in a therapy/rehab setting or healthcare setting preferred
- Students who are looking to advance to PT or PA school a plus
