About The Position
Assists the Therapy staff with patient care. The therapy tech is responsible for the safety of patients while assisting the therapists with delegated tasks. They are responsible for correct timing of certain treatments and executing assigned routine treatments. They are also responsible for cleanliness of working area and equipment.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Bachelor's Degree: Related Field; H.S. Diploma/GED
Responsibilities
- Assists therapist with patient care – vitals, transfers, exercises, testing
- Must be able to instruct and demonstrate exercises
- Must be able to stand to exercise patient approximately 75% of working hours
- Must be able to assist in transferring of patients
- Must be able to document accurately treatment rendered
- Cleaning and organizing duties
- Light maintenance tasks
- Assist with data management
- Assist scheduling and insurance desk duties
- Swim , Comfort in aquatic environment
