About The Position

Synchrony Rehab is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to LEAD our Dynamic Rehab team as Therapy Program Director at Rolling Ridge, a dynamic and innovative Senior Living Commmunity located in Newton Grove,NC! This role involves directing clinical assessments, program development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary environment. The Therapy Program Director is responsible for ensuring compliance with state licensure requirements and company policies, professional practices, and ethical standards. They will demonstrate accountability for and contribute to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement.

Requirements

  • Must have and maintain a current, valid state licensure in respective discipline
  • Current valid CPR certification, preferred
  • Degree in Physical/ Occupational Therapy, or Physical/ Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Minimum 1 year experience in delivering skilled rehab services
  • Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement therapy programs and protocols that align with the facility’s mission, goals, and standards of care.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of therapists, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and best practices.
  • Oversee the allocation and management of resources, including staffing, equipment, and budget, to support the successful delivery of therapy services.
  • Organize and facilitate ongoing training and professional development opportunities for therapy staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Analyze program data and outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance program effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
  • Meets the requirements of specific therapy discipline to deliver skilled rehab services within scope of credentials and/or license.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Other duties as assigned.
