About The Position

Synchrony Rehab is seeking a licensed Part-Time or Full-Time Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to LEAD our Dynamic Rehab team as Therapy Program Director at The Bridges on Parkview, a dynamic and innovative Senior Living Community located in Henderson, NC! This role involves directing clinical assessments, program development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary environment within campus locations, home health, and/or outpatient care. The position requires adherence to state licensure requirements, company policies, professional practices, and ethical standards, while contributing to program development, quality improvement, problem-solving, and productivity enhancement.

Requirements

Must have and maintain a current, valid state licensure in respective discipline
Current valid CPR certification, preferred
Degree in Physical/ Occupational Therapy, or Physical/ Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
Minimum 1 year experience in delivering skilled rehab services
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours.
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.

Responsibilities

Direct clinical assessments, program development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary environment in campus location/s, home health, and/or outpatient care.
Adhere to compliance with state licensure requirements and the company’s policies and procedures, professional practices and ethical standards.
Demonstrate accountability for and contribute to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary environment.
Design and implement therapy programs and protocols that align with the facility’s mission, goals, and standards of care.
Supervise and mentor a team of therapists, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality patient care.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and best practices.
Oversee the allocation and management of resources, including staffing, equipment, and budget, to support the successful delivery of therapy services.
Organize and facilitate ongoing training and professional development opportunities for therapy staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Analyze program data and outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance program effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
Meet the requirements of specific therapy discipline to deliver skilled rehab services within scope of credentials and/or license.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
