Therapy Manager - Inpatient Rehab Unit
About The Position
Texas Children's Hospital is seeking a Therapy Manager to direct, manage, and coordinate the Therapy department's daily inpatient and/or outpatient operations. This role involves providing clinical direction to therapists, technicians, and students, promoting and leading program development initiatives, and serving as a mentor to clinical staff. The Therapy Manager will plan, evaluate, organize, design, and implement treatment techniques and programs in a developmentally and age-appropriate manner for patients from 0 to adulthood. This position works closely with the Assistant Director/Director to develop programs and projects that enhance therapy service delivery and ensures effective coordination of daily operations to maximize patient flow, meet customer expectations, and ensure patient satisfaction. The role also involves providing effective leadership and support for the administrative operations of the TCH Therapy Departments and ensuring appropriate staffing through recruiting, interviewing, candidate selection, and performance management.

Responsibilities
- To direct, manage, and coordinate the Therapy department's daily inpatient and/or outpatient operations related to the provision of therapy services and provide clinical direction to therapists, technicians and students.
- To promote, facilitate and lead program development initiatives.
- To serve as a mentor to clinical staff; plan, evaluate, organize, design and implement treatment techniques and programs in a developmentally and age appropriate manner for patients ages 0 – adulthood within the scope of demonstrated clinical competencies.
- To work closely with the Assistant Director/Director to develop programs/projects that improve the way therapy services are delivered at Texas Children’s Hospital.
- To effectively coordinate daily operations to maximize patient flow, internal and external customer expectations and patient satisfaction.
- To provide effective leadership and support of the various systems and administrative operation sections of the TCH Therapy Departments.
- To ensure appropriate and adequate staffing through effective recruiting, interviewing, candidate selection and ongoing performance management.
