About The Position

The Therapy Authorization Coordinator role at Patriot Homecare is a hybrid position requiring one day a week in the office at either the Girard or Akron locations, with training conducted at the Girard, OH address. The business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Requirements

• Must have High School education
• Must have a minimum of six months office experience
• Must possess typing and clerical skills
• Must have a criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• Medical Background preferred
• Insurance experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Address all insurance denials for therapy department and send appeals when necessary
• Answer general information questions and deliver messages
• Assist with therapy scheduling and availability
• Answer calls from clinical team members
• Assist Therapy Scheduler with task type changes
• Perform other duties as required
