About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Therapy Technician to fill a full-time opening at their Inpatient Facility in Dallas. This role involves assisting clinicians in providing comprehensive rehabilitation to patients under the direction of therapists. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, thrive in a fast-paced environment, be friendly, energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team. A valid driver's license is required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting clinicians for direct patient care (transferring, toileting)
• Infection control cleaning
• Light equipment maintenance
• Driving routes to transport patients to and from clinic
• Assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks
• Setting up patients on therapeutic activities
• Facilitating exercise groups
• Other duties as assigned
