About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Therapy Technician to fill a PRN "As Needed" opening at our Inpatient Facility in Dallas. This role involves assisting therapists with direct patient care, maintaining equipment, transporting patients, providing administrative support, and facilitating exercise groups. The ideal candidate is hard-working, energetic, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of hospital experience as a therapy aide preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with direct patient care, including transfers and toileting.
• Perform infection control cleaning.
• Conduct light equipment maintenance.
• Transport patients to and from the clinic.
• Provide light clerical assistance at the front desk.
• Set up patients for therapeutic activities.
• Facilitate exercise groups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
