About The Position

Little Land is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy practice providing Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), and Speech Therapy (ST) services to children from birth through 22 years of age. Our mission is to help children and families achieve meaningful progress through compassionate, evidence-based care in a collaborative and supportive environment. The Therapy Aide plays a vital role in supporting our clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth daily operations and an exceptional experience for children and families. This position assists therapists with session preparation and cleanup, supports child supervision between sessions, helps maintain clinic organization, and provides administrative support as needed. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, dependable, enjoys working with children, and thrives in a fast-paced pediatric environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with children in a healthcare, educational, daycare, camp, or therapy setting.
  • Interest in pediatric therapy, healthcare, education, psychology, child development, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech Therapists with treatment preparation and cleanup.
  • Sanitize and organize therapy equipment, toys, treatment areas, and therapy materials between sessions.
  • Prepare therapy materials and activities as requested by clinicians.
  • Maintain treatment rooms and common therapy spaces in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Assist clinicians with general clinic tasks to support efficient patient care.
  • Supervise and engage children in the waiting area or designated spaces between back-to-back therapy sessions when appropriate.
  • Ensure children remain safe and appropriately monitored while awaiting their next appointment.
  • Communicate any concerns regarding child behavior, safety, or needs to clinicians or supervisors.
  • Welcome families and assist with patient flow throughout the clinic.
  • Ensure required parent/guardian sign-in and attendance documentation is completed and signed at every visit.
  • Assist with client check-in and occasional front desk support.
  • Contact parents or guardians when clients are late for scheduled appointments, as directed.
  • Support administrative staff with filing, paperwork, scheduling-related tasks, and other clerical duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and positive customer service with families, staff, and visitors.
  • Follow clinic policies regarding confidentiality, safety, and infection control.
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties as needed to support clinic operations.
