About The Position
St. Francis Medical Center is a leading healthcare institution in Los Angeles, providing vital healthcare services to the community. The Children’s Counseling Center, funded by Los Angeles County’s Department of Mental Health (DMH), offers community-based mental health services to children, youth, and families. These services include individual and family therapy, rehabilitation, case management, and medication management, delivered both in the clinic and in the field. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for developing a highly effective clinical team by supporting direct service staff in delivering high-quality care while ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage/Family Therapy, Counseling, or Clinical Psychology from an accredited college.
- Licensed with the Board of California and in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years post licensure experience as an LCSW/LMFT/Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
- Completion of requirements to supervise registered clinicians and/or interns.
- Knowledge of computer operation including word processing and spreadsheet capability.
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or training in the following evidence-based practice is preferred: TF-CBT, AF-CBT, IPT, Ind CBT
- Bilingual (English/ Spanish) to fulfill the linguistic needs of the target population
- Two years of experience supervising Mental Health Registered Associates
- Understanding of process improvement and quality metrics.
