About The Position

Seeking a full-time Therapy Aide to join a large multi-disciplinary team at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Plano, TX. This outpatient facility role focuses on assisting the lymphedema and oncology team with administrative tasks, schedule and wait-list management, and providing direct patient care support under the direction of a licensed clinician. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Assisting the clinic's lymphedema and oncology team with administrative tasks.
Managing clinic schedules and wait-lists.
Assisting as a second set of hands for patient care in collaboration with licensed clinicians.
Working with patients under a therapist's direction to provide comprehensive rehabilitation.
Assisting clinicians with direct patient care, including transferring and toileting.
Performing infection control cleaning.
Conducting light equipment maintenance.
Transporting patients to and from the clinic.
Assisting the front desk with light clerical tasks.
Setting up patients on therapeutic activities.
Facilitating exercise groups.
Performing other duties as assigned.
