About The Position

Baylor Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time outpatient orthopedic rehab aide to join their dynamic Occupational and Physical therapy team in a brand-new space on the Baylor University Medical Center campus Downtown Dallas. The role involves various duties including infection control cleaning, laundry, light equipment maintenance, assistance to clinicians for direct patient care, and assistance to the front desk for light clerical tasks. The ideal candidate should be energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team.

Requirements

• BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide
• Previous tech experience

Responsibilities

• Assistance to clinicians for direct patient care (transferring, toileting)
• Infection control cleaning
• Laundry
• Light equipment maintenance
• Assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks
• Setting up patients on therapeutic activities
• Facilitating exercise groups
• Other duties as assigned
