Therapy Aide
About The Position
Seeking a full-time therapy aide to join a growing multi-disciplinary team at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Frisco, TX. The candidate will be responsible for facilitating efficient patient care by assisting clinicians with patient interventions, providing support for fall risk patients, maintaining clinic and equipment cleanliness, and completing administrative tasks such as ordering and compliance manual completion. The ideal candidate is an excellent team player, takes initiative, is organized, and process-driven. This role involves working with patients under a therapist's direction to provide comprehensive rehabilitation.

Responsibilities
- Assisting clinicians in set up/take down of patient interventions
- Providing a second set of hands for fall risk patients
- Maintaining clinic and equipment cleanliness
- Completing administrative tasks such as ordering and compliance manual completion
- Assisting clinicians for direct patient care (transferring, toileting)
- Infection control cleaning
- Light equipment maintenance
- Driving routes to transport patients to and from clinic
- Assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks
- Setting up patients on therapeutic activities
- Facilitating exercise groups
- Other duties as assigned
