About The Position

Kids Thrive is seeking experienced therapists for a pediatric mental health day treatment program serving children ages 3 to 10. Therapists support a high-acuity early childhood population through group and individual services, providing a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment. The program aims to help children build relationships, improve regulation, and strengthen behaviors so they can thrive at school, at home, and in life. Previous experience working with children is preferred.

The position is at 1030 Clay Avenue, Toledo, Ohio. The posting describes 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with no weekends. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

• A master’s or bachelor’s degree in social work or mental health counseling.
• Ohio licensure as an LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC.

• Previous experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead day treatment groups with a Group Facilitator.
• Provide individual and family therapy.
• Conduct family interviews and refer families to appropriate resources.
• Provide crisis intervention to clients as needed.
• Complete intakes, diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with other providers on the team.
