Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required
  • Must be eligible for licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW (Alabama, Tennessee)
  • Must hold an associate license as an LCSWA or LCMHCA (North Carolina)
  • Must hold a LMSW, LMFT-A, or LPC-A license (South Carolina)
  • Must be a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work (Virginia)
  • Experience conducting behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions preferred
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention practices
  • Excellent communication, documentation, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team while managing an active caseload
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance required for community-based service delivery, when applicable

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized behavioral health services while partnering with families, treatment teams, and community resources to support client success.
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and utilize evidence-based assessment tools to identify client strengths, needs, and treatment recommendations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives in collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary treatment teams.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based interventions to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and other mental health conditions.
  • Monitor client progress, maintain ongoing communication and follow-up, and adjust treatment interventions to support positive outcomes.
  • Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and referrals to additional resources and support services as needed.
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, payer requirements, accreditation standards, and state regulations.
  • For clinicians providing services in North Carolina, responsibilities may also include integrated care functions such as care coordination, health promotion, transitional care, and community resource linkage.
