About The Position

Coastal Harbor Health System is hiring a Therapist to provide care for children and adolescents receiving inpatient behavioral health services. The role works in a multidisciplinary environment and combines direct clinical care with treatment coordination and support for program staff. The therapist leads group sessions and provides individual and family therapy for acute-care patients, while helping guide treatment and patient outcomes. The position serves patients at Coastal Harbor’s Savannah, Georgia, campus, which includes a 145-bed hospital for children and adolescents and a 50-bed inpatient facility for adults. The organization provides short- and long-term inpatient services and serves patients from the local community and across the country.

Requirements

Be a licensed or license-eligible clinician in the state of Georgia.
Have at least one year of experience.
Be computer proficient and have previous heavy data-entry experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience in an inpatient setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead assessments for assigned patients, complete comprehensive psychosocial histories, and identify and resolve documentation gaps.
Collaborate with patients’ support systems and interdisciplinary team members to understand each patient’s needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans within 72 hours of admission.
Create personalized crisis plans for every patient.
Provide clinical oversight to ensure interventions are implemented effectively and aligned with patient goals.
Partner with the Admissions team on clinical screenings and assist with assessments as needed.
Provide group, individual, and family therapy coverage based on patient needs and the program schedule.
Support and mentor program staff through hands-on supervision and professional development.
