About The Position

The Therapist is an exciting position where no one day is the same! This staff member delivers solution-focused and strength-based telehealth, in-home, in-office or in-school services to members diagnosed with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders. After hired, Therapists spend their first two weeks in a supportive training environment, then transition to shadowing peers in the field. Therapists provides supportive services include: intakes, assessments, treatment planning, psychiatric support, and group interventions. Southwest Behavioral & Health Services is a large and growing, non-profit community-based provider of behavioral health services with locations throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area, rural Maricopa County, Gila, Pinal, Mohave, Coconino, and Yavapai Counties. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Master’s degree in the Behavioral Health field (Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work)
  • Level I fingerprint clearance issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or be eligible to receive within eight (8) weeks of hire (as required per program requirements)

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of full-time behavioral health experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides therapy and clinical case management for full caseload of families and/or individual members.
  • Develops and maintains intakes, assessments, and treatment plans.
  • Maintains accurate, thorough, and current documentation in accordance to SB&H clinical standards.
  • Collaborates with clinical staff and other community human service professionals.

  • Therapist positions begin at $50k/annually for Masters level therapists, $58k/annually for those with Associate licensure, and $68k/annually for those with Independent licensure.
