Therapist - Youth and Family Services
About The Position
Seacoast Mental Health Center is hiring a full-time Youth and Family Therapist for its Youth & Family Services Department in the Exeter Office. The therapist provides clinical services to children, adolescents, and their families, including individual and family therapy, intake assessments, group therapy, and targeted case management. The position uses a team model and collaborates with clinical managers, case managers, functional support specialists, psychiatrists, and external partners such as school staff, community supports, DJJS, and DCYF. Training and consultation in relevant evidence-based practices are available. Services are primarily delivered in office, school, and community settings.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a mental health or human service field.
- Must be licensed or license-eligible in the State of New Hampshire; license-eligible candidates must seek licensure.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
- Skilled in using technology, including an electronic health record and telehealth.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children and families or in mental health or human service settings is recommended.
Responsibilities
