Masters degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field from an accredited college or university. Experience: 2 years experience counseling children and families. Knowledge and skills in: The Needs of children and families, identification of abused and neglected children and adults; child development, and individual and family functioning; working with hard to reach or resistant individuals and families; collaborating with other disciplines and services; skills in group dynamics and leading group discussions. As appropriate to assigned feeder pattern, knowledge and skills in: working with military families, gang prevention/bullying, substance abuse and parenting. Training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy and Trauma-Informed Care preferred. Medicaid knowledgeable. Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Licensed or License Eligible in the State of Florida - Registered Intern, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT. Supervision Exercised: Possible task supervision of student interns for internships and field placements.
