Hybrid Therapist – Outpatient Services
About The Position
Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana (VOAOHIN) is seeking a compassionate therapist to provide outpatient substance use disorder treatment on the west side of Indianapolis and in Plainfield. This role offers meaningful clinical work, a strong team, opportunities for growth, and real flexibility. Therapists work as part of a collaborative team including medical providers, case managers, and other behavioral health professionals, focusing on quality care rather than a productivity-driven environment. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field
- Current Indiana licensure at LSW or higher, LMHCA or higher, or LAC or higher
- Ability to provide individual and group counseling, complete assessments and treatment plans, and maintain clinical documentation

- Receive on-staff clinical supervision if you are eligible and working toward higher licensure
- Build strong experience in substance use disorder, mental health, trauma-informed care, and family systems

Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling
- Complete pre-screens, biopsychosocial assessments, and treatment plans
- Maintain timely and accurate client records
- Connect clients with needed resources
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team
- Meet applicable VOAOHIN, DMHA, DCS, Medicaid, CARF, and grant-provider standards
