About The Position

This is a PRN (As Needed) Therapist role at Embark Behavioral Health in Greenwood Village, Colorado, focusing on adolescents, young adults, and their families. The role supports the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), assisting youth with anxiety, depression, and suicidality. Embark emphasizes creating joy, fostering resilience, and healing generations in a supportive, purpose-driven environment. The position offers flexible scheduling, small caseloads, clinical freedom, and a collaborative, trauma-informed team culture. Supervision is provided for those working towards licensure.

Requirements

• Fully licensed in Colorado (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) or provisionally licensed (PLPC, PLMFT, PLSW) within 6 months of obtaining full clinical license.
• Candidates must be prepared to establish a CAQH profile and obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) as part of the onboarding process.
• High-acuity experience (IOP/PHP, Residential, Psychiatric Hospital, Crisis Stabilization) with relational, experiential, and evidence based systemic techniques.
• Master's degree in behavioral sciences (Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field)

Nice To Haves

• 1 - 2 years of working experience as an adolescent therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• This is a contract position and the ideal candidate comes with their own liability insurance already in place.
• Proficiency in incorporating clinical diagnostic and assessment instruments to monitor client progress and treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to regular full-time staff by leading group, individual, and family therapy sessions.
• Ensure rigorous documentation compliance with state regulations, maintaining confidentiality and managing interactions with relevant government agencies.
• Drive program effectiveness through outcomes testing, quality standards implementation, to enhance client engagement and growth.
