About The Position

Our client is a recovery-focused behavioral health treatment organization dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. The clinical team is committed to providing individualized, trauma-informed treatment that promotes recovery, resilience, accountability, and sustainable wellness. Our client is seeking a Therapist to join its clinical team in Las Vegas, NV. This is a full-time, on-site clinical position responsible for providing individual and group therapeutic services to clients experiencing substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring clinical needs. The ideal candidate is a compassionate and clinically grounded professional who values collaborative treatment, professional boundaries, reflective practice, and recovery-oriented care. This position requires strong clinical judgment, effective group facilitation, timely documentation, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or another qualifying behavioral health discipline.
  • Current Nevada professional license or qualifying Nevada clinical intern credential appropriate to the services being performed.
  • Demonstrated competence in individual and group counseling.
  • Strong clinical documentation, assessment, treatment planning, and case management skills.
  • Commitment to trauma-informed, person-centered, evidence-based, and recovery-oriented care.
  • Understanding of professional boundaries and confidentiality requirements within behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Independently licensed in Nevada as an LCSW, LMFT, CPC/LCPC, or other applicable independently licensed behavioral health professional.
  • Nevada substance use disorder credential or demonstrated experience treating substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions.
  • Experience working in PHP, IOP, OP, residential, or comparable behavioral health treatment settings.
  • Experience facilitating clinical groups.
  • Familiarity with evidence-informed modalities such as CBT, DBT-informed interventions, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and other recovery-oriented approaches.
  • Familiarity with 12-step and other recovery-support frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapeutic services within the scope of applicable Nevada licensure and organizational programming.
  • Facilitate structured, evidence-informed therapeutic groups addressing substance use, mental health, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, coping skills, recovery planning, and related clinical needs.
  • Complete biopsychosocial and other clinical assessments within the scope of professional qualifications and program requirements.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on identified clinical needs, client goals, strengths, risks, and barriers to recovery.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation in accordance with organizational, payer, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
  • Monitor client progress and update treatment plans and clinical interventions as clinically appropriate.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, case consultations, clinical supervision, and reflective practice.
  • Coordinate care with medical, psychiatric, case management, peer support, admissions, and other treatment professionals as appropriate.
  • Apply trauma-informed, person-centered, culturally responsive, and recovery-oriented principles throughout clinical service delivery.
  • Maintain appropriate therapeutic boundaries and adhere to professional ethics, confidentiality requirements, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part 2.
  • Participate in crisis assessment, safety planning, and appropriate escalation of clinical concerns within professional scope and organizational protocols.
  • Support a psychologically safe treatment environment that respects client dignity, autonomy, and individual recovery goals.
