About The Position

Centerstone is a leading nonprofit behavioral health system dedicated to improving lives through comprehensive care. This role involves providing individual, family, and group counseling in various settings, including clinic-based and community-based locations. The Therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, community partners, and stakeholders to ensure holistic client care. Free clinical supervision is available for eligible interns pursuing Florida licensure. This position is eligible for a Sign-On Bonus.

Requirements

Master's Degree required.
Experience with mental health and/or co-occurring issues.
Valid FL driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Provide crisis intervention services in the community.
Develop, implement, evaluate, and update treatment plans with client and family input.
Conduct clinical behavioral health assessments.
Enter written documentation into the Electronic Medical Record in a timely manner.
Provide supportive and educational counseling services (individual, family, and group) to develop daily living and coping skills.
Assist clients with developing natural support systems.
Refer, advocate, and link clients and families to additional services as needed.
Complete all required agency trainings to maintain 100% compliance.
Maintain departmental productivity expectations.
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and communicate patient progress, barriers, and treatment recommendations (specific to Inpatient).
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support for patients experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms or behavioral health emergencies (specific to Inpatient).
Conduct clinical assessments and contribute to treatment and discharge planning throughout the patient's hospitalization (specific to Inpatient).
