About The Position

Recover Medical Group is seeking an associate or licensed Therapist specializing in co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The role provides integrated care to clients with both mental health and substance use needs, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment focused on recovery and well-being. The therapist uses a holistic approach and helps clients pursue fulfilling lives.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
Registered associate with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (ASW, AMFT, or APCC), or fully licensed mental health clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or similar).
Experience working with clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Experience with evidence-based practices for treating dual diagnoses.
Experience collaborating effectively as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
Experience providing direct client-facing therapy or behavioral health care.
Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients’ mental health and substance use needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing both mental health and substance use disorders.
Provide individual and group therapy to support client recovery and progress.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate client care.
Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Educate clients and their families about co-occurring disorders and available resources.
Participate in team meetings to discuss client care and share best practices.
