About The Position

Legacy Behavioral Health Services is seeking a therapist to join our team in Lowndes County. Under general supervision, our therapists are responsible for completing evaluation and therapeutic services to mental health consumers in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include completion of complex psychosocial assessments, treatment team participation, treatment planning/monitoring, and discharge planning. Provides individual, family and group counseling to consumers and their families.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling with a supervised clinical practicum
• Degree must be license eligible
• A valid Georgia driver’s license
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork
• Computer experience.

• Clinical license (LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LAMFT, LPC, LAPC) and have experience working in the social services field
