The Therapist leads collaboration among an interdisciplinary team to develop, coordinate, and facilitate direct social services interventions for patients on their caseload and their support systems. The therapist uses empirically supported techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and family therapy, to support stabilization and recovery for people with mental and behavioral health concerns. The therapist creates a safe, supportive environment where patients can understand the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and work toward their goals. The role is in an acute care setting that may include inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and/or intensive outpatient services. The schedule is PRN, providing as-needed coverage when the clinic is open Monday through Friday, with no set hours or consistent days. The therapist may perform additional duties as directed by their manager or clinical operations supervisor to support direct patient care and system initiatives.
