About The Position

NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals of Indianapolis is seeking a PRN therapist to join its clinical services team and provide care to patients and their families during recovery. The therapist provides daily individual and group counseling, develops treatment plans, and coordinates care under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services. The role is intended for a Master’s-prepared clinician who emphasizes trauma-informed care, compassion, and patient safety.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology, or a related human services field.
For candidates with a Master’s degree in Counseling: associate or full counseling license required.
For candidates with a Master’s degree in Social Work: associate or temporary license in the state of employment required; full license preferred.
Experience developing and administering treatment plans.
Knowledge of individual and group counseling techniques.
Exceptional communication skills.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of clinical experience in a behavioral healthcare or acute psychiatric setting preferred.
Previous experience in an acute inpatient behavioral health hospital is a plus.
Full social work license preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage overall treatment planning, including care conferences with families and providers, care updates for families and providers, psychosocial needs, and related completion.
Coordinate and facilitate development of discharge plans of care, including accountability for the complex discharge process.
Ensure an exceptional care experience for patients and families.
Provide daily individual and group counseling.
