This role involves directing and organizing program activities, establishing program goals, and leading program planning, development, and implementation. The Therapist Team Leader is responsible for ensuring program standards are met, identifying and solving problems, and monitoring division contracts and budgets. The position also involves overseeing case loads and staff productivity, ensuring crisis intervention coverage, and collaborating effectively with internal and external sources. Adherence to professional ethics and the application of child/adolescent specific competencies are crucial. The role includes interviewing and screening applicants, providing training, and consistently applying personnel policies. Performance evaluations for supervised staff are to be completed objectively and submitted on time. The leader promotes and acts as a member of treatment teams, providing positive and effective leadership, consultation, and supervision. Ensuring staff competence, seeking clinical supervision, and actively enhancing clinical and leadership skills are key aspects. The role requires treating consumers with care, dignity, and compassion, respecting their privacy and confidentiality, and being pleasant and cooperative. Assisting consumers and visitors, being sensitive to consumer needs and differences, and maintaining a gentle and calm demeanor with consumers and families are expected. Active participation in Performance Improvement activities and AltaPointe committees, completing assigned tasks promptly, and accessing appropriate community resources are also part of the responsibilities. Following AltaPointe policies and procedures is mandatory.
