About The Position

Under the administrative supervision of the Program Director, this at-will leadership position within a program is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of assigned staff and the assistance of the Program Director in the functioning of the program. This role may carry a small caseload of clients and is responsible for effectively coordinating and collaborating with funders and community partners. It is a management position responsible for all phases of the management process within the assigned program.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or an accredited GED program.
  • Four (4) years of varied experience as a provider of mental health services.
  • California driver's license.
  • Current vehicle insurance/registration.
  • Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old (excluding all modes of two-wheeled transport inclusive of bicycles, mopeds, and motorcycles).

Nice To Haves

  • Graduation with a master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • One (1) year of supervisory/management experience.
  • License eligible and current registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an AMFT, ACSW or APCC.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve all time and overtime worked in a timely manner daily and at the end of the pay period.
  • Review and approve all time-off requests.
  • Manage staff performance.
  • Coordinate member services within the team.
  • Provide coordination of 24-hour member services.
  • Visit members periodically to provide direction and support.
  • Provide vocational support.
  • Assist Program Director with all areas of program development as needed.
  • Provide prompt intervention in the event of a crisis, including stopping the crisis and notifying necessary persons and agencies. Provide "on-the-spot" counseling consistent with the program's philosophy.
  • Ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing of members.
  • Complete paperwork as assigned in a timely manner.
  • Review and approve staff mileage sheets.
  • Oversee and co-sign documentation for interns, grad-students, and PSCs.
  • Ensure that all staff abide by meal period and rest period rules.
  • Facilitate groups and community activities.
  • Facilitate team staff meetings at least monthly and more often as needed.
