About The Position

Copper Springs East is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to provide care to patients with mental health challenges. The role involves assessing patients’ psychosocial needs, collaborating with healthcare teams on treatment plans, counseling and supporting patients and families, connecting patients with community resources, and advocating for equitable care. Lived experience serving, working with, or belonging to the target population is required; veteran status is not required. Evening schedule.

Requirements

• Current state LMSW or LCSW license.
• Master’s degree from an accredited school.
• Lived experience serving, working with, or belonging to the target population; demonstrated knowledge and cultural competence may qualify. Veteran status is not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ psychosocial needs, including their emotional, psychological, and social situations.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Provide counseling and support to patients and families facing mental health challenges.
• Connect patients with community resources and services, such as support groups and housing assistance.
• Advocate for patients’ rights and equitable care within the healthcare system.
