About The Position

This position provides clinical services to children and families who are considered to be at risk in a school setting. Services are delivered primarily at school during the school day, but at times in the home or community. The role emphasizes a high level of skill and knowledge about families, individuals, family assessment, family skills, and education services in the school. The position provides diagnostic assessments and therapy services to eligible students and their families. It also provides consultation/teaming with school psychologists, school social workers, teachers, and multiple mental health providers. This position provides case consultation, training on mental health issues, and assistance to the school.

Requirements

  • Fully Licensed Therapist: Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related Human Services field.
  • Fully Licensed Therapist: Current and valid LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC Minnesota State Licensure.
  • Fully Licensed Therapist: Eligibility to become a credentialed provider with insurance entities.
  • Clinical Trainee: Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or Clinical Counseling.
  • Clinical Trainee: Current and valid OR currently pursuing a Minnesota State Licensure (e.g. LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record systems.
  • Experience in residential and/or day treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical services to children and families at risk in a school setting.
