About The Position

The Maples is currently seeking a qualified and compassionate PRN Therapist to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This position offers flexible hours and a supportive work environment, ideal for professionals committed to providing high-quality behavioral health services. As a PRN Therapist at our mental health residential treatment facility, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic support and clinical services to individuals in our care. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will help develop and implement personalized treatment plans that foster emotional well-being, promote recovery, and support each client’s journey toward long-term stability.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work or counseling from an accredited university or equivalent education in the treatment of addictive disorders.
• Maintains a current and unrestricted license with his/her respective professional board or licensing authority in the state of Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to clients utilizing the core competencies of addiction counseling and/or mental health counseling.
• Serves as a resource person for other professionals in his/her specific area of expertise.
• Co-signs all notes written by students, interns, and unlicensed professionals under his/her supervision.
• Assists with any family related issues, conflicts, evaluations, and other follow up as needed.
• Prepares for and facilitates weekly groups/activities with residents.
• Prepares and writes notes or other documents related to treatment and recovery (e.g., assessment, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge, etc.) within 48 hours of intervention/contact.
• Performs other duties and special projects as required.
