About The Position

The Therapist/LPHA (Licensed) at Casa Raphael, in collaboration with the Director of Alcohol and Drug Services, Case Managers, and Substance Abuse Counselors, will be responsible for case management, mental health assessment, providing group and individual counseling, and developing individual treatment plans. This role involves significant client-facing responsibilities, including treatment planning, assessments, group facilitation, crisis intervention, and clinical support to counselors. Additionally, the position requires maintaining accurate client documentation, coordinating services, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory mandates.

Requirements

  • Master's in Social Work, Counseling, or LCSW or MFT, required
  • 3 - 5 years in case management, mental health, dual diagnosis, and substance abuse fields
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures as established in the Company's Employee Handbook
  • Behave and communicate in a manner such that they get along with all constituent groups, co-workers, and management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong critical thinking when making a treatment plan
  • Strong ability to actively listen
  • High proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Clarity
  • Working knowledge of all standard office equipment

Nice To Haves

  • CAARR and/or CAADAC certification preferred
  • Bilingual skills of any language, particularly, Spanish, preferred
  • Substance abuse treatment experience in a group setting, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop, record, and monitor (weekly basis) client's Individual Treatment Plans to ensure progress toward client's treatment
  • Conduct Mental Health screenings and assessments
  • Facilitate co-occurring treatment groups
  • Provide crisis intervention
  • Provide clinical support to alcohol and drug counselors
  • Maintain appropriate documentation regarding the client's progress, services received in individual resident case files
  • Coordinate and schedule appropriate client services with internal and external entities to meet clients' needs and treatment goals
  • Complete and submit time-sensitive reports to referring entities and/or agents
  • Ensure compliance with organization, contractual, local, state, and federal mandates, including confidentiality laws
