About The Position

Black Bear Lodge, a part of Foundations Recovery Network (FRN), is a residential treatment center located in northern Georgia, offering integrated treatment for co-occurring addiction and mental health concerns. The center provides a comprehensive, evidence-based program for individuals suffering from addiction and mental health issues, focusing on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. The serene mountain location offers a tranquil environment for patients to find strength for life change.

Requirements

• State of Georgia Licensure in a mental health related field, or eligibility is required.
• 1 year of experience in mental health or substance abuse field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures orientation of new clients immediately upon admission.
• Obtains history and presenting information as delineated in program policy.
• Facilitate process therapy group and/or psycho-education groups.
• Provides individual therapy to clients on assigned caseload.
• Maintains appointed continuous caseload of actively engaged individuals.
• Coordinates comprehensive discharge plan to ensure seamless community reintegration.
