About The Position

Vesta, Inc. is a financially stable, not-for-profit mental health organization seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join their team at the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Silver Spring, Maryland. This role involves providing clinical services to individuals with various diagnoses, including severe mental illness. Responsibilities include individual, family, and group therapy, treatment planning, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality mental health care.

Requirements

Licensed Social Worker or Professional Counselor licensed in the state of Maryland (LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW-C, LGMFT, LCMFT)
Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

Recent social work and counseling interns encouraged to apply
Ability to provide supervision

Responsibilities

Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team for treatment planning and evaluation
Prepare socio-psychiatric case history information and treatment plans
Provide supervision (preferred but not required)
