Requirements

Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
Valid state licensure as a mental health professional (LCSW, LPC, etc.).
Experience working with clients who have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Strong understanding of evidence-based practices for treating dual diagnoses.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health and substance use needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both mental health and substance use disorders.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support client recovery and progress.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate care for clients.
Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Educate clients and their families about co-occurring disorders and available resources.
Participate in team meetings to discuss client care and share best practices with colleagues.
