This position provides case management support to clients and their families in person, over the phone, through text messaging, and in the community. The Therapist Assistant will understand the MDFT model and use its concepts to aid clients in understanding and managing their symptoms and recovery. This role involves collaboration with MDFT therapists, supervisors, and other clinical team members to coordinate and deliver services. The assistant will maintain family and collateral contacts, assess and involve natural supports in treatment planning, and demonstrate competency in substance use, recovery, mental health, and child development, providing trauma-sensitive and culturally competent care. Responsibilities include ensuring urinalyses are completed as required, documenting all services and contacts, and attending all program and MDFT required meetings and trainings.
