About The Position

Works directly with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and their families. The ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapist implements the behavior, treatment plans developed by the BCBA team. Builds a rapport with the learner and works with learner and family on goals outlined in his/her treatment,behavior plan. Keeps data on all learner and group sessions and track progess toward treatment goals. Attends Binder Autism Center program events throughout the year, i.e. picnics, holiday parties, bowling, field trips, etc. Works evenings on a regular basis and weekends as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, behavior analysis, or closely related field.
• Two to three years of experience working with children diagnosed with Autism.
• Successful completion of an FBI criminal background check and fingerprinting (with re-screening every two years).
