About The Position

Gemma Services has an IBHS program operating out of our new Philadelphia PA Mt. Airy location. Requirements

  • Licensed in the Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist or a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services
  • Certification as a BCaBA
  • Minimum of providing one year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 12 college credits in ABA
  • Minimum of one year of full-time experience providing ABA under the supervision of a BCBA
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience providing behavioral consultation services including ABA principles
  • Experience must include writing comprehensive treatment plans and FBAs utilizing ABA interventions
  • Experience providing oversight and behavioral technique training to direct care staff and families is also required

  • Experience providing services under IBHS regulations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervising the Assistant Behavior Consultation-ABA, Behavior Health Technician-ABA and monitoring compliance with adopted best practice standards/treatment models
  • Provide child, caregivers, 1:1 staff support and BHT-ABA psycho-education regarding the child’s diagnosis and learning style and behavioral interventions
  • Provide guidance using knowledge of the current techniques proven to be effective with this population through the utilization of behavioral analytic principles and interventions
  • Write, review and revise the treatment plan in accordance with the Commonwealth IBHS regulations
  • Review and update the Assessment
  • Utilize standardized assessment an screening tools
