About The Position

The Center for Human Development (CHD) In-Home Therapy team is seeking creative, energetic, and enthusiastic Therapeutic Training and Support Workers to join their team in West Springfield, MA. This role involves providing structured one-to-one skill-building for youth aged 0-20, focusing on areas such as interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. The TTS will work collaboratively under the supervision of a Master’s Level Clinician to implement therapeutic objectives, helping youth manage emotions and assisting families with mental health and behavioral needs. The role also includes care coordination with other community providers and supporting families in accessing community resources.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Computer literate.
1-2 years of experience in therapeutic care for children and adolescents with emotional health needs.

Responsibilities

Provide structured one-to-one skill building for youth (age 0-20).
Support, coach, and train youth in areas such as interpersonal communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
Work in collaboration and under the supervision of a Master’s Level Clinician to implement therapeutic objectives.
Assist the family to address the youth’s emotional and mental health needs.
Assist with care coordination with other community providers involved in the youth’s treatment.
Support and assist the family in exploring community resources and natural supports.
