About The Position

Provides counseling to individuals and/or families using multiple forms of therapeutic approaches, including psycho-educational models and medical/illness models of assessment and diagnosis. Works with individuals and/or families to address issues such as depression, addiction and substance abuse, stress, and problems with self-esteem. May also help with job and vocational concerns or parenting.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a human services field
  • Two years of experience
  • LICSW or similar licensure required

Responsibilities

  • Provides assessments in the areas of mental status, personality, behavioral response patterns, relationships, and family interactions.
  • Provides individual counseling and support services and family psychotherapy as appropriate to training and program participant needs.
  • Facilitates/co-facilitates counseling groups.
  • Participates in treatment planning with a trans-disciplinary team.
  • Consults with staff, insurance provider, family, etc. about treatment recommendations and progress.
  • Submits service summaries and billing slips for each program participant served, indicating objectives, strategies, and outcomes obtained.
  • Completes daily billing summaries and turns them in to appropriate staff.
  • Attends CCS in-house seminars as scheduled and/or appropriate.
  • Attends weekly discipline meeting and meetings with supervisor(s) as necessary.
  • Ensures evaluation, progress, and discharge reports on each program participant are completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensures adherence to accreditation standards and ethics of confidentiality.
  • Provides appropriate supervision and in-house activities for program participants as needed.
  • Actively participates in Crisis Intervention System (Beeper Team).
  • Performs other related duties and activities as required.
