About The Position

This position is designed for current teachers at high schools with whom Marymount University has an agreement to deliver dual enrollment courses. The role involves teaching designated courses, contributing to program development, and monitoring course content and implementation. The instructor must adhere to the Marymount University Academic Calendar, submit grades and evaluations in a timely manner, and conduct end-of-course evaluations for students.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in content area or Master’s degree plus 18 credit hours at minimum (or School Director approval of work).
  • 2-3 years of teaching experience and/or professional experience in related disciplines.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach designated courses.
  • Commitment to program development.
  • Monitor course content and course implementation.
  • Follow the Marymount University Academic Calendar for all important dates.
  • Submit mid-term grades/evaluations and final grades in a timely manner.
  • Conduct the Marymount University end of course evaluation for students with the Office of Planning and Institutional Effectiveness.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
